With Star Wars on the mind lately, a lot of you are probably thinking about how cool it would be to go to space. While floating around in zero gravity may look fun in the movies, it actually does some not-so-fun things to your body.
Astronaut Leland Marvin is here to unmask any preconceived notion of “space glam” you might have and crush your hopes and dreams of being an astronaut.
(Side note: If you’re short, you might not want to give up your dream of being an astronaut.)
We hope that we didn’t discourage you from your lifelong dream of becoming an astronaut. Space is awesome, and as Leland Melvin says, “It’s worth it for the spirit of exploration.”
