Brushless motor pumping
Brushless motors often make good power sources for pumps because they last a long time. That’s the point of this display by motor supplier Micromo. Engineers there devised a handmade pump that is powered by a BX42232 brushless dc servomotor that is notable for the large amount of torque it provides in a small package. The pump metered out drops of viscous material that made a striking pile at the bottom of the column.
